Do not be mislead:

We only accept reservations directly from our clients for their stay. There is no external company or person who is authorized to accept reservations or payment for a stay at La Montaña y el Valle, The Coffee Estate Inn.

We do not work through any third parties, travel agencies, travel packagers, tour operators or wholesale operators.

Some tour companies and travel agencies operating in Panama are unscrupulous.

We discovered this because people, who wanted to stay here, eventually contacted us directly for clarification. One of the favorite techniques is "Bait and switch". This is when an operator will promise our accommodation, make a solicitation of money from you and then switch you to another hotel. They will use excuses of "Non-availability" and have gone so far as to impugn our reputation by stating "We have a problem with Montana y Valle, seems they didn't keep our reservation."
Beware.
